Complementary Non-Domestic Training

NDEAs can choose additional training courses from Stroma Certification to further diversify your skillset and gain more opportunities within the commercial industry. Our Non-Domestic MEES training course instructs candidates on how to support landlords and commercial property agents with compliance to the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards. Our ESOS training course covers the requirements of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme and offers a qualification as an ESOS Lead Assessor.

Course Content

All NDEA training courses are approved by the Awarding Body of the Built Environment (ABBE). A registration fee of £230+VAT is payable to ABBE when delegates complete the course. We offer NDEA training across the UK and can provide the course at a location of your choosing for groups of four or more individuals.

Level 3 course:

• Practical skills of building surveying and data entry into the approved government software
• Modelling simple heating, cooling and ventilation systems within existing buildings
• Instruction in the use of SBEM software

Level 4 course:

• Top-up course from Level 3
• Completing EPCs for buildings containing more complex heating, cooling and ventilation systems
• New and existing buildings

Sam Cantle

Sam is the Scheme Manager for our Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA) Certification scheme. He is responsible for the technical and operational aspects of the scheme to ensure our members are able to work in a compliant manner on commercial properties. This includes auditing, the provision of technical support and CPD.
